Inspections & photos

Are inspection photos timestamped and location-stamped?

Yes — every photo records when the shutter fired and, if the phone allows location, where the inspector stood, and the report prints both. That is what turns a photo into evidence in a deposit dispute or a franchise audit.

How it works

  • The first time you start a walk the phone asks to use your location; say yes once.
  • Location and time survive the offline queue: a photo uploaded an hour later is still stamped with its own moment.
  • Photos can be annotated (arrows, circles, text) after the fact; the original is kept.

What it doesn't do

  • If location is denied on the phone, the report says the location was not recorded rather than guessing; the New-inspection page tells you how to switch it back on.
