Move-in inspection
The move-in checklist that decides the move-out.
A move-in inspection records the unit's condition on the day the resident takes the keys. Every deposit conversation a year later comes back to this document: if it says the carpet was clean and the blinds were whole, that is the baseline. The checklist below is the one built into Sitesui, so the printed version and the phone version are the same walk.

Open the checklistMove-out inspection
Move-out, item by item, next to the move-in.
The move-out inspection settles what the resident owes and what was normal wear. Its items mirror the move-in's, with two areas the move-in doesn't need: cleaning, and damage beyond normal wear. Walk it the same way, in the same order, so the two documents can be read side by side.

Open the checklistStore walk
One store walk, the same way at every store.
A store walk is the routine condition check a district or regional manager runs at each location on a cadence — monthly, quarterly, whatever the program says. What matters is that store #14 and store #212 get the same items in the same order, so the roll-up means something. This is Sitesui's Commercial property template, the one the multi-site coverage page is built around.

Open the checklistHOA common areas
The monthly common-area walk the board can read.
A common-area inspection is the association's own record of the spaces it maintains: landscaping, roads and sidewalks, lighting, the clubhouse, the pool, the playground, the mailboxes, roofs and stairwells. Done on the same items every month it produces a trend; done differently each time it produces an argument. This is the HOA / common areas template built into Sitesui.

Open the checklistAirbnb turnover
Every turnover, the same items, with a timestamp.
A turnover check is what happens between checkout and the next check-in: the unit is reset, restocked and photographed. The photos are the point — a dated record of the unit's condition before a guest arrives is what a damage claim rests on. This is the Turnover check template built into Sitesui, the first one a short-term rental workspace sees.

Open the checklistProperty inspection report
The checklist, and the report it turns into.
A property inspection report has two halves: the checklist that structures the walk, and the document the client receives. This page has both. The checklist is Sitesui's General property inspection — exterior, common areas, systems and safety. The sample report is the PDF the app produces when that kind of walk is completed: a cover with the property and overall condition, a summary, every item with its rating and photos, an action-items table by priority, and signature blocks.

Open the checklistPunch list
The punch list before the homeowner walks it.
A punch list is what is still wrong at substantial completion: the drywall touch-up, the cabinet door out of alignment, the missing outlet cover. Walk it before the client does. This is the Punch list — substantial completion template built into Sitesui, organised by trade; in the app each open item becomes a punch item assigned to the sub, with a photo, and the record shows before and after.

Open the checklistHQS pre-inspection
Find what would fail before the PHA inspector does.
Before a housing authority inspects a Section 8 unit, walk it yourself against the same areas. The checklist below is Sitesui's Section 8 / HQS template: a practical pre-inspection modeled on the Housing Quality Standards areas — not the PHA's own form, and not a substitute for it. In the app each failing item becomes a work order so the fix is scheduled before the visit; a re-inspection then proves it.

Open the checklistRoutine inspection
The visit that finds the leak before the ceiling does.
A routine inspection is the scheduled look at an occupied property between move-in and move-out: the things that fail quietly — a detector with a dead battery, a drip under the sink, a filter nobody changed — and the lease terms that drift. The checklist below is Sitesui's built-in routine template; set a cadence per property in the app and it tells you what is due.

Open the checklistTurnover make-ready
Every turn, the same list, nothing forgotten on day one.
A turnover is a sequence, and the cost of the vacancy is the days it takes. This checklist walks the unit in the order the work happens — what the move-out found, what the cleaners and painters must do, what gets tested before keys are cut — so the make-ready is a list a vendor can work from, not a memory.

Open the checklistResidential walkthrough
The whole house, in the order you would walk it.
A single-family property has more to look at than a unit — the roofline, the grading, the garage, the yard — and the same rooms inside. This checklist is the built-in residential template: exterior first, then every room, then the systems that cost the most when they fail. It is the general-purpose walk for a house you manage or own.

Open the checklistSite walk
The super's walk, written down and photographed.
A site walk does two jobs at once: it catches the hazard that will hurt someone this week and it records where the work stands. This checklist is the built-in construction template — access, protection, housekeeping, electrical, materials and progress — so the walk that happens anyway leaves a dated record with photos.

Open the checklistExterior & grounds
Water goes where the grading sends it. Look before it does.
Most expensive building problems start outside: a downspout that dumps at the foundation, a walkway that heaves, a light that is out where someone will fall. This is the built-in exterior and grounds template — a focused survey you can run seasonally without going indoors.

Open the checklistSafety & compliance
The walk that proves the exit was clear on the date it mattered.
This is the management-side safety walk: the things a person can see and date — the extinguisher tag, the exit sign lit, the door that closes, the path a wheelchair can take. It is the built-in safety and compliance template. It is not the fire marshal's inspection or the sprinkler contractor's test; it is how you know, before they come, what they will find.

Open the checklistHVAC & mechanical
Nine items a manager can check before calling the technician.
You do not need to be a technician to notice a soaked filter, a condensate pan with water in it, a water heater weeping at the relief valve or an outdoor unit buried in leaves. This is the built-in HVAC and mechanical template: the visual checks that catch a failure early and give the technician a photo before the truck rolls.

Open the checklistRoof inspection
Drains, flashing, penetrations. The three places roofs leak.
A roof rarely fails in the middle of the field; it fails at the edges, the penetrations and the drains. This is the built-in roof template: a walk of the places that leak, with a photo of each, done on a dry day by someone who is allowed to be up there. If you are not, it becomes the list you give the roofer.

Open the checklistMoisture & mold
Find the water first. The mold is where it has been.
A resident says the unit smells musty, or a ceiling stain appears below a bathroom. What happens next — who pays, who fixes, whether anyone argues — depends on the record made that day. This is the built-in moisture and mold template: every place water collects in a unit and around the building, a photo and a note at each, the extent measured, and the next step written down before anyone leaves.

Open the checklistRepair verification
“Done” is a photo of the same spot, after.
A repair is finished when someone who did not do it looks at it. This is the built-in verification template: the original finding beside the completed work, the quality of the fix, whether the area was left clean, whether the resident agrees, and a photo from the same angle as the one that opened the work order.

Open the checklistPre-drywall walk
Photograph everything you are about to cover up.
Once the drywall goes on, the walls keep their secrets for thirty years. The pre-drywall walk is the last chance to see the blocking for the grab bar, the wire where the TV will hang, the duct that was crushed, the window flashed wrong — and to photograph it in place. This is the built-in pre-drywall template, walked with the homeowner when you can.

Open the checklistFinal walkthrough
Orientation, finish review, and the signature that closes it.
The final walkthrough is two meetings in one: teaching the homeowner their house — the shut-offs, the panel, the filters — and agreeing on what is done and what is still open. This is the built-in final-walkthrough template, ending in a sign-off both sides keep.

Open the checklistWarranty walk
The one visit that closes the builder warranty, on the record.
Most new-home warranties run one year on workmanship; the eleven-month walk is the visit that catches what a year of seasons did — nail pops, trim gaps, a door that sticks in August — while it is still the builder's to fix. This is the built-in warranty template, walked with the homeowner's own list beside it.

Open the checklistAmenity inspection
The places homeowners judge the board by, walked monthly.
Nobody emails the board about the retention basin; they email about the pool gate, the treadmill and the playground mulch. This is the built-in amenity template — the visible, used, complained-about places, walked on a cadence with a photo of each — so the Thursday board packet has answers before the questions.

Open the checklistViolation drive
The same rule, applied the same way, with a dated photo.
Enforcement holds up when it is consistent: the same drive, the same rules, the same kind of photo, every time. This is the built-in violation-drive template — a lot-by-lot pass through the community recording the rule, the condition and the evidence — so a notice rests on a record and a hearing rests on the record, not on memory.

Open the checklistLife-safety monthly
The monthly round the AHJ and the insurer will ask you to prove.
The people who ask for this record — the fire marshal, the insurer, the owner's attorney after something happens — want the same thing: that someone walked it, monthly, and wrote down what they saw. This is the built-in life-safety monthly template: the visual checks a manager can do, dated and photographed, between the contractors' own inspections.

Open the checklistPM round
Mechanical, roof, restrooms, lighting, elevators, grounds — one loop.
A preventive-maintenance round is the building engineer's loop, written down so it survives a day off. This is the built-in PM round template: the rooms and systems that fail expensively, walked in one order, with a rating and a photo, so the work orders come out of the round instead of out of the complaints.

Open the checklistCheck-out damage record
What the guest left, photographed before the cleaner arrives.
A damage claim on a booking platform is decided on evidence gathered in a narrow window: after the guest leaves and before the next one arrives, with photos that are dated and clearly of this property. This is the built-in check-out damage record — nine items, every one a photo — so a claim is a record, not a recollection.

Open the checklistQuarterly deep clean
The things the turnover skips, four times a year.
Turnovers keep a rental presentable; they do not keep it maintained. Once a quarter something has to look behind the fridge, inside the dryer vent, under the mattress and at the detector's date. This is the built-in quarterly template — the maintenance a good host does that a guest never sees and a review always reflects.

Open the checklistRe-inspection
Back to the property, item by item, to prove the fixes.
A report that found seven problems is finished when seven have been looked at again. This is the built-in re-inspection template: the original findings, each rated Done or Not done on the second visit, with the after photo beside the before. It is the visit that turns a list of repairs into a record of them.

Questions
About the templates
Are the PDFs the same as the templates in the app?
Yes. Both are generated from the same built-in template — the items on the PDF are the items you'll see on the phone. The app version can be edited; the PDF prints the built-in as shipped.
Can I use them without an account?
The PDFs, yes — print and walk. Running one on your phone, with photos, ratings and the finished report, needs a free account.
What if my checklist isn't here?
30 templates are built in and every one can be copied and edited. If yours is a spreadsheet or a Word document, there's no file import: rebuild it in the template editor, starting from the closest library template with Copy and customize.
