Is there an app to download, or does it run in the browser?

It runs in the browser and installs to your home screen from there — Safari on iPhone, Chrome on Android — so it opens full-screen like an app, and inspectors get updates the moment they ship. A native iPhone app is on the roadmap; until it ships, the installable web app is the way in on every phone.

How it works

Open sitesui.com on the phone and sign in.
iPhone: Share → Add to Home Screen. Android: the browser offers Install, or Menu → Add to Home screen.
From then on it opens from the icon, works offline, and sends push notifications if you allow them.

What it doesn't do

Some in-app browsers (a link opened inside Facebook or Instagram) block camera and file access; open the link in Safari or Chrome instead.
