While you're online, the app keeps a copy of your scheduled and in-progress walks for the next seven days, and the templates, on the phone. The evening-before reminder (sent between 5 and 8 PM your time) links straight to tomorrow's walk: open it once while you still have signal.

Walk as usual. Every rating, note and reading is sent to the server first; when it can't get through, it is kept on the phone. Photos keep the time and place they were taken, and a voice note says *Voice note saved on this phone — it uploads when you're back online.*
- 3
The bar at the bottom says *You're offline — keep walking* and counts the changes saved on the device. Sync now sends them as soon as there's a connection; otherwise they go on their own, new walks first, then ratings, then photos and voice notes.
- 4
You can tap Complete with no signal. The walk then reads *Completing when you're back online*, and it completes only after every rating and photo of that walk has arrived.
- 5
You can start a walk with no signal too: Start now builds the checklist from a saved template. Otherwise the inspections list shows *1 inspection waiting to be created* until it syncs.

While photos are sending the screen stays awake, and leaving the page asks first. Signing out with unsynced work asks too; the work stays on that phone and syncs the next time you sign in there.
Video clips and signatures need a connection: they are not held on the phone.
If the server refuses something when it syncs (for example, the Free month is used up), it is set aside, not deleted: the bar offers Retry, Save to phone or Dismiss, and Dismiss never removes a photo that exists only on the phone.
