What is the best inspection app?

It depends on the walk: for a builder, inspector or property manager who walks a property with a checklist and needs each failed item to reach the person who fixes it, Sitesui is built for exactly that, and it is free to start. For a licensed home inspector writing a narrative report for a buyer, or a project team that pins items to drawings, a specialist tool fits better.

How it works

  • Pick a checklist from the 36 built-in templates or build your own; it runs in the phone's browser, iPhone or Android, and keeps working offline.
  • Walk the property: a rating, a photo and a note on each item, every photo stamped with when it was taken.
  • Tap Complete and the branded PDF exists; share it by a link the owner, client or board opens without an account.
  • Rate an item Poor and it becomes a work order to a vendor or sub, who answers from a link with an after photo.
  • Compare it yourself: the demo walks a sample inspection with no account, and the compare pages set Sitesui against Spectora, SnapInspect, zInspector, SafetyCulture and Fieldwire.

What it doesn't do

  • Sitesui is not a pre-purchase home-inspection report writer: no narrative buyer report, no scheduling, no agreements or payments; Spectora and HomeGauge are built for that.
  • It does not pin items to drawings or plan sheets, and it is not a construction project-management platform.
  • There is no App Store or Google Play download; it installs to the home screen from the browser.

Which plan

Free

Free has no card and no expiry, and every new workspace starts with 14 days of Business; Pro is $19/month when the walks outgrow it.
