Preventive maintenance checklist for buildings

How to run it
Three passes, in walking order
Mechanical rooms
Boilers, pumps, air handlers, water heaters: leaks, noise, gauges, filters, the log on the wall.
The building
Restrooms, lighting and lamps out, doors and closers, elevators and the phone in the cab, stairwells, the loading dock.
Outside and up
Roof access and drains, grounds, lighting, signage, the generator if there is one.

PM round: what people ask
Is this a maintenance schedule?
It is the walk; the schedule is the cadence you set per building in the app. Filters, belts and lamp changes follow their own intervals; this is how you notice the ones that were missed.
Does it replace the elevator or boiler inspection?
No. Elevators, boilers and pressure vessels are inspected by licensed inspectors on the schedule the state sets. The round notices the expired certificate on the wall.
Can engineers on different shifts share it?
Yes — one workspace, each round under the person's name, the same list. The report shows who walked what and when.
